The City of Muleshoe has partnered with Leading EDG since 2017 to provide free business services for its’ residents. This service is fully funded by the Muleshoe Economic Development Corporation, so there is never any cost to those who utilize the service.
Leading EDG is an entrepreneur development group who coach and consult entrepreneurs and business owners in managing, operating, and financing small business.
Cameron Winegar is Muleshoe’s designated business facilitator from Leading EDG. Cameron is a small business owner with a background in real estate, education, technology, and marketing.

Specific services include, but are not limited to, developing business plans, putting together numbers for financing, marketing plans, providing market research, setting up online business, and providing education on several business-related subjects, such as financial management tools, loan programs, placing bids, and more.

Joining the Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce was the obvious place to start and working with the MEDC was also a great move! Carina Reyes helped us join the Chamber and also put me in touch with Cameron Winegar of Leading EDG who helped us get our business listed on Google and create a Facebook page. Last month alone we had 838 hits on our Google account. I really appreciate the help that we received from Ms. Reyes and Cameron Winegar. These young people are excited about the future of Muleshoe and are working hard to make it good!”
Cameron will be in Muleshoe the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in 2021. Leading EDG works out of the Muleshoe Training Facility at 303 South Main Street.
