The MEDC partnered with Muleshoe High School’s graphic design classes to design a map of Texas for the MEDC website. The purpose of the map design is to showcase where Muleshoe is located in the state of Texas.

Utilizing a locations map on the home page of the MEDC website makes it easy for visitors to see exactly where Muleshoe is and more importantly, how Muleshoe might be a good location for business. Requirements for the project included pinpointing Muleshoe, labeling nearby interstates and highways, and showing the proximity of Muleshoe to major cities.

Muleshoe City Council Approves Contract Renewal with Entrepreneur Development Group, Leading EDG

The City of Muleshoe has partnered with Leading EDG since 2017 to provide free business services for its’ residents. This service is fully funded by the Muleshoe Economic Development Corporation, so there is never any cost to those who utilize the service.

Leading EDG is an entrepreneur development group who coach and consult entrepreneurs and business owners in managing, operating, and financing small business.

New Year Offers New Hope in Muleshoe, Texas
COVID-19 vaccines are being administered, COVID-19 case counts are low, and businesses are continuing to make their way to Muleshoe. 2020 was tough, to say the least, but it is safe to say, that 2020 did not defeat Muleshoe and its provenly strong economy. In fact, Muleshoe gained 16 new businesses in 2020 alone.

Muleshoe was named the 24th safest small city in Texas according to a report published by AdvisorSmith on December 1, 2020.

In an effort to assist small local businesses impacted by COVID-19, the City of Muleshoe and the Muleshoe Economic Development Corporation have developed the Muleshoe Cares Small Business Grant Program.

This program is made possible through the funds received from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and the Muleshoe EDC who has agreed to contribute to the fund. Qualifying businesses will be eligible to receive up to $2,500.
